Just like how every 1st of October is a big celebration here in Nigeria, Ghanaians on the other hand, regards every 6th of March as an official state holiday in honor and commemoration of the country’s independence from the British. Ghana is a country in the western part of Africa , with it’s location along the gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean. The country gained its independence on the 6th of March, 1957, and according to history, they were the first country in the sub-Saharan Africa to break free from their colonial masters, the British.
The year 2021 marks the country’s 64 years since their exit from the colonial rule and in the spirit of the celebration, several country leaders, high profile personalities, celebrities, Footballers, politicians sent in their warmest wishes and prayers for the country. A host of popular Nigerian celebrities and Ex-BBNaija housemates the likes of Tacha, Nengi, PrinceEnwerem also graced the memorial event styled in colorful ankaras and braids.
