An Instagram model was unable to sit down for four months after botched bottom surgery left her severely scarred.
Shilpa Sethi, 25, from New Delhi, India, had always wanted a curvy body, so decided to start saving up $10k for a ‘Brazilian Butt Lift’.
The model, who has over 1.2 million followers on her Instagram page where she posts X-rated pictures of herself in lingerie, said: “I have always admired a curvy body. And I was very flat, at first.”
She added that despite her mum not wanting her to have the procedure, she went ahead with it anyway.
But things did not go according to plan.
Shilpa explained: “I chose my doctor based on what I later discovered to be fake reviews. That first surgery was botched, and I had complications immediately after the procedure.
“I was short of breath, and felt a sharp pain in my leg.”
Unable to contact the Miami-based doctor directly, Shilpa did a little investigating and uncovered a culture of deception in the cosmetic surgery trade.
“His office staff members had bribed every patient in the office with free [pain relieving] Arnica cream for their fake review.
“The only reason I’m telling my story now is because I don’t want anybody else to go through what I’ve been through.
“I wish I had never picked him as my first doctor.”
Shilpa is furious with the people who had written the false testimony.
She said: “People don’t care about other people as long as they get what they want from writing their fake review.”
The end result of that surgery was not only a lopsided rear end, but considerable discomfort.
“It was very painful, and I wasn’t able to sit on my butt for four months.”
Now, following three more expensive and ‘aggressively painful’ corrective procedures costing a total of $60k – for which she travelled to Colombia twice and had to undergo a ‘J-plasma’ to reattach loose skin back onto her muscles – Shilpa is finally able put this painful experience behind her.
She also decided to treat herself to Bosom augmentation in the final cosmetic procedure.
The model, who makes thousands of dollars a month from OnlyFans alone, said: “It’s paid for itself now, put it that way.”
“Fans say I have the best butt, especially when it jiggles and makes them go crazy. And because its all my fat, it’s really soft too.”
Still, Shilpa passionately wants her tale to serve as a warning to others.
“Doctors with fake reviews are literally taking peoples lives. The doctor who did my first surgery killed one girl last year, aged just 28. She had a fat embolism.
“People need to be real with each other on this topic – it’s surgery and its big, it can take your life, or other people’s lives.’
