 AACE International Competitive Scholarships

The AACE International Competitive Scholarships award $2,500 to its recipients. The primary aim of establishing the organization was to support quality education in a variety of disciplines and offer financial assistance to outstanding students with financial need.

To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed one year of college and be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university. only applicants in the fields of Building Construction / Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Agricultural, Architectural, Chemical, Civil, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mining and Electrical) and Quantity Surveying are considered for the scholarship

Furthermore, the applicant has to possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale. Applicants are required to apply online using the AACE International Competitive Scholarships website. Unfortunately, application for the scholarship is currently suspended and will reopen by January 2022

Against the Grain Artistic Scholarship

Against the grain artistic scholarship is one of the scholarship for architectures for UK and US students. The scholarship provide financial assistance and promotion of Asian American college students pursuing a major in the performing, visual arts, journalism and mass communication. The organization was actually established to provide financial support to Asian American college students and offers four scholarships per year with a specific requirement.

The organization offers four different scholarships with different eligibility requirements. The applicant will have to visit Against the Grain Artistic Scholarship website for the individual requirements of the scholarships.

Eligibility requirements of the scholarship include:

  • The scholarship is only open to Asian students (applicant has to be of at least 25% Asian) and a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the US.
  • At the point of application, the candidate must be enrolled either in an accredited high school or college in the US for college students; they must be pursuing an associate/bachelor/master degree in these courses: film, theatre, fashion, photography, graphic design, dance, music, journalism, mass communications, etc. High school students are expected to be seniors at the time of application.
  • Applicants are also required to have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

To apply for the scholarship applicants are expected to provide the following.

  • A 750 words essay on any art-related topic
  • A short essay answering the question, “What does it mean to you to go Against the Grain? How do you go Against the Grain?”
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Artistic portfolio showcasing the applicant’s work. Videos should be 3 to 5 minutes long.
  • The files should be sent in PDF format to atgscholarship@gmail.com.
  • Recipients/winners of the scholarship winners will be required to send a 1 minute “thank you” video to the organization.

CRCA Scholarship

CRCA is an acronym for Chicago Roofing Contractors Association. CRCA scholarship contribute greatly in the life of students by giving award of $5,000 renewable scholarship to a high school senior who will enter college in the fall semester.

The scholarship is mainly for high school seniors with the intention to pursue liberal arts and sciences, engineering, architecture or business in college.

Applicants for the scholarship must be a high school senior to be accepted as full-time students into undergraduate degree programs at an accredited college to study a 4-year course in liberal arts and sciences, engineering, architecture, or business.

Applicants must have an ACT composite of 29 or higher or SAT equivalent and must be US citizens.

To apply for the scholarship, students will have to fill the complete form on CRCA scholarship website  and also complete two personal evaluation sheets with a 1-page letter of recommendation, an official transcript of all high school records and official ACT or SAT results.

The selection will be based on academic performance, faculty recommendation, extracurricular activities, employment experience.

The scholarship is renewable only if a student manages to maintain a 2.75-grade point average, based upon a 4.0 system, and it can be renewed three times.

Ehrlich Rominger Scholarship

Santa Clara County residents with currently pursuing a degree in architecture can apply for the Ehrlich Rominger Scholarship. The scholarship awards $5,000 to two lucky recipients of the scholarship. Mr Joseph Ehrlich created the Ehrlich Rominger Scholarship Fund and Mr Jack Rominger with the objective to assist future architectural professionals.

The eligibility requirements for the scholarship

Applicants will have to be enrolled in a college or university program related to a degree in architecture

Applicant must be a resident of Santa Clara and citizens/permanent residents of the United States.

Applicants will have to fill the application form on the Ehrlich Rominger Scholarship website and attach the documents indicated in the application form. An artistic portfolio which will demonstrate the applicant’s design abilities is required (Not more the 24MB.)

Applicants will also submit a written statement of personal goals related to architecture, two letters of recommendation from professors and professional architects and proof of enrollment in an institution which will provide you with a degree in Architecture.

Shade Sail Design Challenge Scholarship

Tenshon is proud to offer a fantastic new scholarship opportunity for students, scholarships are available for both fall and spring semesters but this scholarships is only for students who are ready to put their brains to work. Shade Sail Design Challenge Scholarship is ready to support students interested in architecture, design, and/or engineering and so on in their academic pursuit.

The scholarship award amount is $1,500.00 per semester, and the application deadlines are July 15th for the Fall Semester and December 15th for Spring Semester.

African-American students in their final year of an accredited architecture program are eligible to apply for the Gensler African American Internship and Scholarship which is competitive. That is, once nominated by their academic institution, applicants for GAAINS are selected through competitive juried application process. Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships

the scholarship was created to support the minority and economically disadvantaged students in the field of art and design (architecture inclusive) at universities in the United States. The awards aim to help people and also increase diversity in the creative profession.

Scholarships award of $2,500/$3,000 will be awarded to the recipient. The award is sent directly to the recipient’s school and applied toward tuition and cannot be used for any other purpose.

Applicants for the scholarship must be citizens of the United States in an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following disciplines – Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography.

Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and prove that they have financial need by providing complete information of financial assistance on the scholarship.

ZONTA Milwaukee Scholarships

Black women can apply for the ZONTA Milwaukee Scholarship. Zonta International is an organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.

The organization is offering scholarship programs aimed at encouraging more women to pursue undergraduate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. $1,000 is awarded to recipients of the scholarship.

Young women and students living in and/or attending accredited schools in southeastern Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine, and Kenosha counties can apply for the scholarship. To apply for the award, applicants will have to fill the scholarship form provided in the ZONTA Milwaukee Scholarship website before June 1st, 2022.

RIBA Student Support Fund

The fund was designed to support the training of architects. The fund was established 180 years ago and has generously awarded scholarships and prestigious prizes to help students and graduates at all levels of professional training in architecture.

To be eligible for the scholarship fund, applicants must be enrolled in RIBA Part 1 and 2 courses and experiencing financial hardship.

Future Designer Scholarship

CardsDirect Inc sponsors the Future designer scholarship. The winner of the Future Designer Scholarship will receive a $2,500 scholarship to a secondary institution of their choice and will have their designs featured as products on CardsDirect site. Applicants must be at least 17 years old and already accepted or enrolled in this educational organization.
